Dinara won the same title last week

Sri Lanka’s Dinara de Silva bagged back-to-back Girls Singles title of the ITF Under-18 J30 Tennis Championship when she came out victorious in the final of the ITF U-18 Week 2 Championship played at Islamabad, Pakistan. Last week, Dinara clinched the Week 1 title and she pulled off another comfortable 2-0 win over Karolina Ligai of Kazakhastan to claim her second successive title within a week.

Having continued her consistency from last week, into this week’s competition, Dinara reached the final with an unbeaten record, as she overcame Karolina by 6/3 and 6/4 to claim an easy win in the Girls’ Singles final. She had a successful stint on the way to defending the title by recording wins against Chae Won Moon of South Korea in the second round, So Yuna also of South Korea in the quarter-final and Hinata Wada of Japan in the semi-final encounter. The win was Dinara’s third ITF Championship title.
