‘B2B Luxury Connect 2024’: Community of luxury connects
View(s):Boutiques in Sri Lanka, the leading organisation promoting boutique accommodation experiences in Sri Lanka, will host its annual ‘B2B Luxury Connect trade fair’, Sri Lanka’s only Luxury Travel Fair exclusively for the small luxury accommodation sector, on Tuesday, the 30th April 2024, at Monarch Imperial, Sri Jayewardenepura, Kotte.
The event will be conducted under theme, ‘Sustainability Sri Lanka’, and will be an opportunity for vetted small luxury boutique hotels to showcase their properties to producers of business to small luxury properties.
The details of the event were announced and discussed at a press conference held recently. Present at the head table were Nimal Martinuz (Chairman and Main Sponsor – Mosvold Boutique Hotels), Thisum Jayasuriya (The Chairman of Sri Lanka Conventions Bureau), Induni Wijeykoon (SriLankan Airlines) and Druvi Tara Gunasekara (Founder- Boutiques in Sri Lanka).
The Co-Sponsors of the b2b Luxury Connect are Aman, Malabar Hill, Aarunya Nature Resorts and Spa and JH Villa. Approximately 200+ small luxury properties are expected to be represented at this Travel Fair.
‘‘B2B Luxury Connect’ is about connecting luxury. Hence once again this year, foreign tour operators would be participating from UK, France, Germany, Dubai and India. This provides the participating boutique properties, a fantastic opportunity to showcase themselves directly to a selection of experienced travel professionals who are seasoned at generating business for small luxury boutique properties. The small luxury accommodation sector, which includes boutique hotels, villas, bungalows, cottages, camps, eco-stays and more, is the fastest growing category of accommodation, as more tourists demand privacy and personalised service, teamed with local experiences. Sri Lanka is home to over 1,000 small luxury properties, and many are hidden gems, whilst only a few are globally known.
