‘Nelum Kuluna – Tentigo’, one of the first dark comedy films directed and produced in Sri Lanka has selected to represent ‘Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival’ (TBNFF) in Estonia. .

The world premiere will be held at TBNFF on the Wednesday, 15th November, 2023 in Tallian, Estonia. This film festival is one among 15 A-list film festivals in the world alongside Cannes, Venice and Berlin.

The content is universal and can be enjoyed by anyone in any part of the world.

‘Nelum Kuluna – Tentigo’ is Directed by writer/ Cinematographer – Ilango Ram and produced by – Hiranya Perera.

Kaushalya Fernando, Priyantha Sirikumara, Thusitha Laknath, Chamila Peiris, Chandani Seneviratne, Dilhani Ekanayake, Sulochana Weerasinghe, Aloka Gayathrie, Ranjith Panagoda, Madura Prabashwara, Saman Koralage, Sanjeewa Upendra, Aloka Sampath and Asela De Silva pay in this star studded movie created by hunband and wife combination – Ilango Ram and Hiranya Perera.

Music is by Leon Bob James, while the film is edited by Aathan Sivananthar. Sound and music supervisor – Rangana Sinharage, Production Designer is Ajantha Alahakoon. Assistant director – Niroshan Edirimanna and production Manager is Manjula Perera

After finding their father dead, to their dismay, his sons discover that something in him is still alive, well, and standing tall. His erected penis. What should have been a day of somber mourning breaks into complete bedlam as the two sons try, as discreetly as possible, to bend his organ before the funeral. In their quest to cover up the truth to save face, the two brothers are forced to confront their own troubled relationship and deal with their dead father’s secret love life.

‘We are planning remaking Nelum Kuluna in India in Tamil language early 2024 in collaborating with Stone Bench, a renowned south Indian film production company owned by famous director Karthik Subburaj’ said Director Ilango Ram.
