MSI Academic Excellence Awards Ceremony 2023
View(s):The Management & Science Institute (MSI), Colombo affiliated with Management and Science University (MSU), Malaysia was recently held a reception the Academic Excellence Awards Ceremony for year 2023. The students involved are comprised of outstanding students pursuing their diploma and bachelor’s degree levels from various areas of specialisation including of hospitality and tourism management, biomedical science, business management, international business, and event management.
This event was officiated by MSU and MSI President, Professor Dr Mohd Shukri Ab. Yajid. Also present were MSU Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr Junainah Abd Hamid, MSI senior management team and students.
The outstanding students with excellent achievements in their studies were awarded the President List and Dean’s List Awards for the academic excellence in 2021 and 2022. More specifically, the students with extraordinary achievement in scientific research publications, cooperation in extracurricular activities and outstanding leadership representing as the leaders of student and their councils were awarded special awards as a recognition of their achievements and contribution.
Lecturer felicitations were also given out during this occasion to the most dedicated lecturers who embraced new 21st-century teaching and learning methods as well as participated in community engagement initiatives linked to the United Nations Sustainable Goals (UNSDG).
The President of MSU/MSI, Dr Mohd Shukri stated “To be successful in life there must be the desire to set goals and work towards achieving them” and congratulated the awardees with blessings from the main campus MSU, Malaysia. It was a memorable and proud event for all.

All MSI programmes are directly administrated and accredited by MSU Malaysia. At present MSU is recognised by more than 40 partner universities worldwide including United Kingdom, Australia, Ireland, Germany, Eastern Europe, New Zealand, Japan, Indonesia and India.
