Lanka Mahila Samiti annual handicraft exhibition and sale
View(s):Lanka Mahila Samiti will hold their Annual Handicraft sale on December 6, from 9 am to 5 pm, to display and popularise their samiti products in Colombo.
The event will be held this Tuesday, at the Lionel Wendt Gallery, Premasiri Khemadasa Mawatha, Colombo 7.
Talented rural members will display a wide array of gifts such as “Indikola” table mats, wall hangings, embroidered table cloths, and cushion covers with exciting ideas.
Children’s dresses and ladies night wear, unique items such as batik sarees, blouses, sarongs, skirts, costume jewellery, beeralu and thatin lace and table mats, ekel baskets and so on will also be available. Our traditional sweets like kavun, mung kavum, kokis, pickels, chutneys will also be on display.
