Hollywood newest Christmas movie ‘Violent Night’ directed by Tommy Wirkola is now being screened in theatres in Colombo and around the country,

Starring David Harbour as Santa Claus and others in the cast including John Leguizamo, Cam Gigandet, Alex Hassell, Alexis Louder, Leah Brady, Edi Patterson, and Beverly D’Angelo, the film unfolds the story as to how Santa Claus must answer the daughter’s Christmas wish and step in to save the day when a paramilitary group seizes the estate of a wealthy family on Christmas Eve.

An elite team of mercenaries breaks into a family compound on Christmas Eve, taking everyone hostage inside. However, they aren’t prepared for a surprise combatant: Santa Claus is on the grounds, and he’s about to show why this Nick is no saint.

The film was released at Liberty by Scope Cinemas, Colombo City Centre, KCC – Kandy City Centre, Majestic  – Colombo 04 and Savoy 3D and other theatres in line with the worldwide release on December 2.
