An online Tree Talk celebrating the conservation work of Sam Popham, the pioneer of the unique dry zone arboretum known as the Sam Popham Arboretum at Dambulla, will be presented by Ruk Rakaganno on Sunday, November 20 at 6 pm.

The lecture titled ‘Are Birds Singing Duller Songs’ –  (the impact of pollution in the quality of bird songs) will be delivered by Professor Mayuri Wijesinghe, an award winning researcher at the Department of Zoology and Environment Science at the University of Colombo.

Sam Popham’s nephew Peter Popham will also pay tribute to his uncle.
