‘Sakunthalaya’ , a theatrical production by award winning dramatist Akhila Sapumal based on a story from Mahabharatha will go on the boards at 3.30 p.m. and 6.45 p.m. on March 26 at Elphinston theatre Colombo.

Translated to Sinhala by D. E. Hettiarachchi and Piyadasa Nishshanka from “Sakunthalaya”, the classical Sanskrit poetry written by Kalidasa is widely regarded as one of the greatest poets in the East.

All seats are box-planed and tickets are now available at Sarasavi Book Shop – Nugegoda and Elphinstone theatre. “Sakunthalaya” is produced and organised by Jude Srimal.
