The Indo-Sri Lanka joint field training exercise ‘Mithra Shakthi’ was held at the Army Training School in Maduruoya.The exercise which saw 120 troops from Sri Lanka Army and an equal number from the Indian Army taking part lasted two weeks. The final day exercise was held in the presence of the visiting Indian Army chief Gen Manoj Mukund Naravane and Sri Lank’s Army chief Shavendra Silva.
