Their creations are clearly designed with dedication and passion with special attention to the tiniest of details in order to transform a special moment to one you that will never forget. The founder and owner of the organization Huda Hassan, started TheGiftSpotLK in 2019 by making gift boxes for friends and family and today she has managed to capture an audience of 5.4k followers on instagram.

Huda believes the pandemic has given an opportunity for their company to rethink several management procedures during emergencies which helped them to strengthen their connection with their customers as people relied on online stores more than usual.

“We will always try to keep our customers satisfied in any way possible. Especially during situations, where there are a lot of negative things going around, a gift can mean a lot to people,” says Huda.

Cece’s – - cakery

Pursuing baking as a childhood hobby Chenuka Fernando launched her own platform of baked goods in 2016. While committing to her 9-5 job she explored her bakery skills in many aspects. She is passionate about making a social distant birthday not very distant by connecting each other with customised cakes, chocolate coated strawberries, confections and monogram boxes.

Nobody deserves to spend their birthday in isolation without any connection or love, a surprise cake can definitely reconnect all the relationships that were distanced due to the lockdown. As she mentions,”People don’t have a way of purchasing a gift and delivering it personally, so I focused on introducing gift giving options where people can still make their friends and family feel special without the hassle.”
