Minister of Sports gift Milo campaign winners with bicycles to encourage a fitter, active lifestyle

Hon. Namal Rajapaksa, the Minister of Sports, gifted the Milo campaign winners with bicycles at a special event, in support of the brand’s campaign to help children stay physically active. The Minister recently launched a National Cycling Sunday, and strongly believes cycling is a great way to spend time outdoors and get some exercise.

Milo’s latest campaign aims to provide a total of 10,000 children with Rs.10 million worth of bikes, skateboards, basketballs, footballs, laptops, tabs, reloads and more, at a time where many struggling with remote learning and online classes, and parents are worried about the lack of outdoor playtime and physical activity for their children.

The brand has awarded 8,000 winners so far, and will be gifting 1,000 winners every week up until April 18. More information is available on the @MiloSriLanka Facebook page.
