Sanuk and Chanuka shine for Lyceum Nugegoda
View(s):Sanuk de Silva and Chanuka Amarasekara impressed for Lyceum International School, Nugegoda in their drawn game against Mayadunna MV, Hanwella in a Under-13 Division III School Cricket 2019/20 second round match played at Hanwella.
Lyceum Nugegoda batted first and scored 117 runs in which Sanuk de Silva top scored with 30 runs. Mayadunna MV, in reply, were bundled out for 64 after an impressive five wicket haul by Chanuka Amarasekara. He was well supported by Hiruka Kodituwakku and Abdul Hakam, who picked two wickets each.
At close of play Lyceum Nugegoda were 70 for 4 in 22 overs and they earned first innings points and moved forward to the next level of the tournament.
