Scooter Braun who is at the center of a bitter trade dispute with Taylor Swift has called for a truce by suggesting he is ready to sit down and talk. Swift who has attacked the music mogul from the moment he acquired her former record label Big Machine Label Group. Taylor’s first six albums were recorded under the group and as per the agreement the singer does not the rights to the contents. The crossover singer even suggested re-recording her earlier material to gain control. The dispute has reached levels of death threats from fans of Swift to the staff the Big Machine Label Group, Braum and his family.

Billie Eilish is living her dream as her new single ‘Everything I Wanted’ as it debuted at No: 3 on the UK singles top chart. The song was released on 13th November and thus given the 17 year old her third UK top 10 hit. The song sees the teenage star once again teaming up with her talented older brother Finneas O’Connell who is composer, co- writer and producer of the song. He is also backup singer on the track.’

Shania Twain the Country musician who became a crossover star with ‘You’re Still The One’ in 1998 has taken a swipe at Country Music radio stations for adopting a policy of not airing music by older female Country artistes.

The Canadian singer who is the holder of the Order of Canada – (the second highest honour in the system) referred to the policy as being “very ageist”. Aging pop and rock stars have had their new music barred from radio stations even in the UK for over 15 years. Some of them have found a way to bypass the rule by collaborating with young and current artistes.

 

Stormzy to release next album in Dec

 

 

 

 

 

UK rap and grime star Stormzy is to release his next album called ‘Heavy Is The Head’ on 13th December. The 26 year old took to social media to make the announcement. The 16 track album will include Stormzy’s No: 1 hot ‘Vossi Bop’. The album will feature Stormzy on several collaborations including the latest single ‘Own It’ with Ed Sheeran and Burna Boy and on ‘Pop Boy’ by the young rap artist Aitch.

 

 

U2 and A.R. Rahman collaborate on new single

 

 

U2 have collaborated with A.R. Rahman on their new single ‘Ahimsa’ which was released on 22nd November. The collaboration with the Indian music maestro is ahead of U2’s first concert performance in India on 15th December in Mumbai. It is part of U2’s The Joshua Tree Tour which is on to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the album release.

Mumbai is the final concert in a five leg tour which commenced in 2017.

 

 

 

Arizona Zervas has new song enter UK Top 10 singles chart

 

 

 

 

 

New star Arizona Zervas has his song ‘Roxanne’ enter the UK top 10 singles chart at No:10 rising from 24. The pop rap track is the debut global official release for the 24 year old from Maryland, in the US.

His song is gained popularity on the social media platform Tik Tok and thereafter he was signed on with Columbia Records just this month.
