Power of Play is presenting two free puppet shows for children today. From 10.30-11.30 a.m., at Odel, Ward Place will be ‘Find your bell’ by Kumudu De Silva, the story of Rolly, the baby snail who feels very small and unimportant- but is he really? Presented in English/Sinhala, this puppet show is ideal for families with children aged 3-10 years.

From 5-6 p.m. at the Vihara Maha Devi Park (near the Buddha statue)/Town Hall lawn will be ‘Little Girl Giant of Sri Lanka’. Power of Play invites children to come and interact with the tallest little girl in Sri Lanka as she plays with her friends in wheelchairs. This is an awareness campaign on Cerebral Palsy organised by the Merill J Fernando Foundation of Dilmah.
