“Guttila Kaavya” at Punchi Theatre
View(s):Theatrical production, “Guttila Kaawya”, made based on poetry written by Waththawe thera, directed by award winning playwright Akila Sapumal will go on the boards at 3.30 pm and 6.45 pm on August 4 at Namel Malini Punchi theatre in Borella.
Guttila Kaavya is a prescribed text for both GCE Ordinary and Advanced Level Sinhala syllabi. The play is performed by a group of experienced stars including Chadrasoma Binduhewa, Prasannajith Abeysuriya, Jayanath Bandara with Thilanka Gamage, Dinupa Kodagoda, Thilan Warnajith, Susantha Kahandawalaarachchi, Tony Kevitiyagala, Iresha Jeewanthi, Priyantha Kumari and Asiri Edirisinghe.
Dilshan Umayanga handles music while stage setting is by Dasun Theikshana. All seats are box planned and tickets are now available at the theatre gate.”Guttila Kawya” is produced and organised by Jude Srimal.
