INSEE Cement to rebuild and restore three blast-affected churches

INSEE Cement has stepped forward to help rebuild and restore the country’s three churches badly damaged in the recent Easter Sunday blasts.

The churches are the St Anthony’s Shrine in Colombo 13, St Sebastian’s Church in Negombo and Zion Church in Batticaloa.

Nandana Ekanayake, Chairman/CEO of INSEE Cement, Sri Lanka said in a media release that the company has pledged to provide its Ready-Mix brand of INSEE Concrete and INSEE Sanstha Cement to reconstruct the three churches.

“Rebuilding and restoring the three damaged churches as quickly as possible is important to all the people of Sri Lanka, irrespective of religion or ethnicity, because as a nation we strongly believe in joining hands and living in harmony. Therefore, it is important to restore the churches without delay,” he said.
