FITIS workshops on IP protection
View(s):The Federation of Information Technology Industry Sri Lanka (FITIS) has organised a workshop for seven days in association with NDU®E (Pvt) Ltd on “Intellectual Property Protection for Software and Mobile App Developers” on July 1, 3, 5, 9, 11, 15 and 17 from 3:30 pm to 5pm at the CIMA Auditorium, Colombo 5.
The objective of these workshops is to provide a comprehensive overview of Intellectual Property. The workshops intend to cover IP protection, the importance of developing an IP plan and taking measures to safeguard such property. Patents, trademarks, trade secrets, infringement of IP, and the navigation of open source software are some of the critical topics these workshops intend to cover.
The speakers at these workshops are Ms. Ishani Perera, Co-Founder and Brand Protection Consultant of NDU®E; Ms. Kamani Perera, Co-Founder and Brand Protection Consultant of NDU®E and Ms. Nicola de Mel, Patent Analytics Consultant of NDU®E.
