National Trust AGM followed by book launch
View(s):The Annual General Meeting of the National Trust – Sri Lanka will be held on Thursday, March 28 at the HNB Auditorium, 22nd Floor, HNB Towers, 479 T.B. Jayah Mawatha, Colombo 10 at 6 p.m.
This will be followed by the launch of the book “Collection of Drawings & Paintings by L.K. Karunaratne” by Prof. Nimal de Silva. The book will be available for sale at a pre-launch price of Rs. 2,700 and the author will be available to autograph books after the lecture. . The paintings could be viewed in the foyer from 5 p.m. onwards.
The 115th National Trust lecture “Sufism: A Brief Introduction (Cultural Mores or Mysticism?) will be delivered by Shaheeda Mohamed Barrie, immediately after the book launch, at around 6.30 p.m. The event is open to all.
