The Kiddies Show
The junior drama students of the Sashi Mendis Studio of Drama and Speech will be putting up ‘The Kiddies Show’, an evening of variety with eleven short plays which children and parents can both enjoy. The plays range from ‘Banyan Tree and the
Little Grass’ to the hilarious play ‘Punchi Raja’
(About a king who badly wanted to get tall)
and plays like ‘Monsters of HodgePodge’ and
‘Sleeping Handsome’, not to forget the hilarious ‘Cranki Franki’ about a crazy director who puts up a play at Galle Face.
The show will go on the boards at the
Punchi Theatre, Colombo 8, on September 20
and 21, 2018. Tickets are priced at
Rs. 1000 (Balcony
Rs. 600).
