Freddy, the stand-up comedy show that played to packed houses last year at the Lionel Wendt is back for a stand-up comedy special. On July 7, Freddy’s One Night Stand takes place at the Temple Trees ballroom. The show is organised by the Royal College Union in aid of the Children’s Ward of the Trail SL Cancer Hospital in Karapitiya, Galle.

Freddy’s One Night Stand will feature stand-up comedy performances by Ifaz Bin Jameel, Daminda Wijayaratne, Dino Corera and Gehan Blok. At this special show Freddy will also be introducing a new stand-up performer, Adin Mathitharan.

Covering a wide range of subjects, issues and topics from Muslim weddings, beards, bombs, buriyani, alcohol addictions, national day parades, illegal immigration, the worst things about Australia, school traditions, hate speech, MeToo, Cricket, Rugby, the media and of course our beloved politicians, Freddy- One Night Stand promises to be a fun-filled evening.

Freddy – One Night Stand is written and directed by Feroze Kamardeen and produced by Sirraj Abdul Hameed and Ashan Munasinghe.
