Relive Boney M hits with Liz Mitchell
View(s):Boney M is a truly unforgettable name in the history of recent pop music. With the release of the song ‘Rivers of Babylon/ Brown Girl in the Ring’ in 1978, the Caribbean group shot into worldwide stardom. The song became “Boney M’s” best known hit and went on to be the second biggest and most impressive single in U.K. chart history.
Other memorable “Boney M” hits include “Rasputin” (U.K. Top Ten hit), “Painter Man” (U.K. Top Ten hit) and “Hooray! Hooray! It’s a Holi-Holiday” (U.K. Top Ten hit), released in April 1979.

After decades of performing, this amazing Disco-band is still loved by fans worldwide, with a whopping 150 million copies of record sales sold. Liz Mitchell the original lead vocalist of Boney M is still touring with her group now billed as Boney M featuring Liz Mitchell. The line up includes Liz Mitchell on lead vocals backed by Paulette Kerr, Jacinth Mhende and Toni Ashcroft.
Amongst their many worldwide performances their most recent tours include Vietnam in 2016, USA, Canada in Aug-September 2017 and Russia and Germany in December 2017.
