Hemas Hospitals signs up Manipal company to strengthen skills of nursing staff
View(s):Hemas Hospitals has announced a partnership with Manipal Global Education Services (MaGE) in India to strengthen and raise the standards and skills of their nursing staff.
An MoU for this purpose was signed by Dr. Lakith Peiris, Managing Director of Hemas Hospitals Group and A. P. Ramabhadran, Chief Executive Officer of Manipal Professional Learning (ProLearn), in the presence of several senior officials from both organizations, the company said in a media release.
As per the understanding, Hemas Hospitals will send their nursing staff in batches to the Manipal Hospital in Bangalore for a 14-day hands-on, advanced training intervention. The programme will focus on educating nurses on different advanced specialties including neurosciences, orthopedics and In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) in line with Hemas Hospitals’ plans on building capability and expanding its clinical programs to super-specialized areas in Gastroenterology, neurology, urology, cosmetics, and subfertility.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Lakith Peiris, Managing Director of Hemas Hospitals Group said: “Our partnership with Manipal Global Education Services is a step in this direction where we upscale the standards of our nursing staff with new skills, knowledge and best in class global practices”.
