Private buses openly violate traffic regulations with gay abandon, overtaking on the wrong side… ignoring the double line rule which cannot be crossed under any circumstances under traffic regulations

While covering the up-coming elections our photographer captured a cross-section of motorists brazenly violating road rules.

Pedestrians and road users alike complain that hardly any action is taken against private bus drivers, though police are quick to impose fines on drivers of other vehicles.
Motor cyclists, road users claim are among the biggest offenders as can be witnessed in the rising numbers of motorcycle accidents.

Our photos show two motorcyclists riding parallel to each other in animated conversation.

In contrast our cameraman captured a herd of cattle setting an example to their bipedal denizens by using a zebra/ pedestrian crossing to cross the road!

This car parked on the pavement forces pedestrians on to the main road, endangering life and limb

A case of cattle setting an example to humans

Drivers of private buses are a law unto themselves. A private bus driver brazenly ignores the double line rule as well as rules governing overtaking

Who gave them a licensce to ride? a pair of motorcyclists in deep conversation…
