Changes to country’s Education system to enhance employability: MoE

View(s):

The Ministry of Education (MoE) will bring changes to the country’s Education system to meet international standards, and hence, offer better employment opportunities to students. In a series of proposed changes, it is planned that every student will be afforded 13 years of Education in schools, creating a knowledge based society.

Accordingly, students will be able to choose subjects in keeping with their abilities in the 13-year Education package. For this purpose, 26 new practical subjects will be added to the Advanced Level curriculum, which will enhance a student’s employability in new fields, in the increasingly modernising world.
At present ,the MoE is recruiting and training teachers for a pilot project to be implemented soon.
