The Central Bank’s annual roadmap of policies in 2018 is likely to be presented to ministers, government officials and key private sector CEOs in the first week of January, official sources said.

The roadmap, last year titled “Road Map: Monetary and Financial Sector Policies for 2017 and Beyond” and expected to be presented by the CB Governor Dr. Indrajit Coomaraswamy and sets the tone for policies and programmes for the new year while reviewing the developments and policies in the previous year (2017). The CB’s monetary policy review for December and interest rate changes, if ever, are expected to be announced on Thursday, December 28 after a meeting of the Monetary Board
