Rs 2b for local, foreign training to Teachers
View(s):The Government has allocated Rs 2 billion for local and foreign training to teachers, to enhance the quality of Education in schools.
Accordingly, 35 Officers of the National College of Education (NCE), the 2nd batch in a series of officers to undergo foreign training, left for Malaysia last week, for a fortnight’s training course at the Ultra University in Malaysia. The course would enable them provide quality training to Teacher-trainees undergoing their 2-year training at the NCE. Meanwhile, the first batch of 35 NCE Officers returned from Malaysia last week.
