Sithara, Dineth shine for Tamil Union
Half tons by Sithara Gimhana and Dineth Thimodya and a five wicket haul by Disnaka Manoj helped Tamil Union record a first innings win over Sri Lanka Ports Authority CC in their Under-23 Emerging League Cricket Tournament played at P. Sara Stadium.
Tamil Union helped by a five wicket haul by Dissanayaka they bowled out SLPA CC for 174. Tamil Union in their turn scored 231.
An allround performance by Rumesh Buddika saw BRC grab honours against Badureliya CC at the end of the first day’s play in the match played at the BRC ground.
Half tons by Lahiru Milantha and Janith Liyanage saw Ragama CC make 231 for 4 against Army SC when bad light stopped play at Panagoda.
