‘Nino Live’ goes on air
Young filmmaker Thisara Imbulana’s debut film ‘Nino Live’, a story about a young man who is born in the age of reality-show television and the challenges he faces in this digital era, is now being screened in theatres around the country.
The film stars Nino Jayakody, Dasun Pathirana, Yureni Noshika, Umali Thilakaratne, Chandani Seneviratne, Steve De la Zilwa, Bandula Vithanage, Kingsley Ratnayake and Ruchi Dissanayake in the stellar cast.

250’ (One piece 250) and ‘Thathagatha Kolama’ were nominees at both Youth Drama Festival and State Drama Festivals.
Thisara studies acting under Mahendra Perera and he followed the cinema course on filmmaking and film production conducted by National Film Corporation and studied filmmaking and script writing at Asian Academy of Film and TV in India.
Behind the screen screenplay of ‘Nino Live’ is by Imbulana himself while it is produced by Sahil Gupta. Line producer is Iranthi Abeysinghe, camera Channa Deshapriya, art director Lucky Wijewardena, make up Indika Udaralankanath, editor Duminda de Silva and musical score is by Sanka Dineth.
