Film critic Sunil Mihindukula to be felicitated

Veteran film critic, journalist and author Sunil Mihindukula will be felicitated for his service to cinema and cinema literature.
A felicitation ceremony has been organised at 3.30 pm on May 4 at the auditorium of Mass Media Ministry in Narahenpita.
A book titled ‘Sunil Mihindukula Cinema Sahithya Sampradana’ edited by Prof. Samantha Herath and wellknown writer and poet Buddadasa Galappatti will be released at the feliciation ceremony. Veteran film critic Gamini Viyangoda, editor and senior journalist Tilakaratne Kuruwita Bandara and award winning actor Sanath Gunatillake will speak at the event while veteran filmmaker Sumitra Peries will be the chief guest.
At the recently held Presidential awards ceremony, Sunil Mihindukula was given a Presidential Cinema award for his service to cinema and journalism.
