High tech in the village

This picture was taken outside the Mahaweli office at the Kotmale dam recently by Business Times reader. Chinthaka Indikadahena. Inspired by our Page 1 picture on blouse pieces being sold on the Pettah pavement and “suggesting that the start-up community can help this vendor to go high tech”, Mr. Indikadahena says that this Kotmale ‘sales point’ shows how much the hi-tech usage has influenced the local (small scale) entrepreneurs in the remotest parts of Sri Lanka.
