‘Ayaskanthaya’: ‘Thru Daru with Neela’

‘Ayaskanthaya’, ‘Thru Daru with Neela’, an explosive musical extravaganza will come alive at the Nelum Pokuna Theatre on December 10 at 6.30 pm.The third edition of ‘Ayaskanthaya’ will feature veteran singer Visharadha Neela Wickremasinghe along with the popular singing children of the veteran singing sensations Rookantha- Chandralekha, Amal Perera, Priyankara Perera and Sangeeth Wickremasinghe.
The new generation singers Raini Gunathilake, the daughter of Rookantha, Nadeemal Perera, the son of Amal Perera, Dilman Perera, the son of Priyankara and Sanuka, the son of Sangeeth along with Neela will generate experimental fusion music of three decades.
‘Wayo’ led by Sangeeth Wijesuriya will provide the backing music.
The special feature of this concert is the organisers have issued a few back stage tickets to music enthusiasts enabling them to see the concert from back stage. This will be the very first time that a musical show is allowed to watch from the back stage for tickets.
Sangeeth Nupun Sanath Nandasiri will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.
