A 10 MW solar power plant spanning 40 acres at Hambantota is to be commissioned this month by LOLC.  Officials told the Business Times that through Saga Solar, an LOLC subsidiary, this US$ 20 million is set to provide valuable support to the country’s national grid. LOLC has 51 per cent in Saga Solar with the Dubai-based fund management company, Sabour Capital owning the rest.
