Good governance activist, K.C. Vignarajah has been appointed a special representative to the Ceylon National Chamber of Industries (CNCI) to serve the industrialists and chambers in the North and East of the country. A past chairman of the chamber, Mr. Vignarajah is a senior advisor who is conversant with the chamber movement and enterprise development. He had been the chamber’s Chairman of the Executive Board of Management of the project “Small and Medium Enterprise Developers” – SMED in Sri Lanka for its first three years.

“In our annual competition- “Achievers Awards”, we have specially recognised manufacturing and service sectors in the Northern and Eastern provinces. We require Mr. Vignarajah to use his vast experience now to complete the balance work that had been left out for a long time to boost the SME sector in the two provinces. He was a reputed industrialist and consultant in the country and internationally,” the chamber said in announcing his appointment.
