Whitney Houston’s duet with Christina Aguilera which was to be aired at the finale of The Voice was cancelled. The cancellation was made after the duet ‘I’m Every Woman’ was leaked online on 19th May. Whitney Houston’s Estate, NBC and Hologram USA were in agreement that the technology was too low and not appropriate enough for the iconic singer’s calibre. Houston was to appear singing the duet along with three other songs. Alki David the CEO of Hologram USA said they will work on the technology further as they still plan to stage a Whitney Houston hologram tour this year which will last an hour.

Drake’s ‘One Dance’ is one hell of dance as the song has successfully stopped an attempt by Justin Timberlake’s ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’ from taking the No: 1 spot on the UK singles chart. Mid-week indications were that Timberlake’ song was in the lead and on course to the top, but as the week ended Drake’s hit shot past with a combined sale of 105,000 as against Timberlake’s hit which managed 99,000 combined sales. Thus Drake’s ‘One Dance’ has secured a sixth week at No: 1 and is now the longest chart topping UK No:1 for 2016.

Meanwhile another of Drake’s songs ‘Too Good’ from his album ‘Views’ has crossed on to the UK singles chart at No: 8 from 23. The hip hop/ r&b track features Rihanna.
