A theatrical festival comprising three legendary stage plays of late Prof. Ediriwira Sarachchandra will go on the boards at 3.30 pm and 7 pm from May 13 to 15 at Lionel Wendt theatre, Colombo.

The festival will kick off with the ever popular ‘Maname’ and “Hasthikantha Manthare” redirected by Lalitha Sarachchandra will be staged on May 14.

Sanath Wimalasiri, Lakshani Amarathunga, Jagath Kumara, Rajith Hewathanthrige, Tony Kevitiyagala, Janaka Munasignhe and Kumari Aththanayake feature in the cast while costume designing, choreography and stage management are done by Lalitha Srachchandra, Ravibandu Vidyapathi and Danapala Bogoda respectively.

“Sinhabahu”, Prof. Sarathchandra’s landmark stylish play will be staged on May 15.

The festival is organised by Jude Srimal and all seats have been box planned and tickets are available at the theatre.
