CIMA Sri Lanka is organising a discussion session on the economic imperatives of approaches to global terrorism. This interactive session will focus on several key areas including trends in contemporary terrorism, drivers of terrorism/ extremism, economic costs of responding to terrorism, effects on developing economies and collaborative approaches to combat terrorism.  The free workshop will be conducted by Admiral Jayanath Colombage, a former chief of Sri Lanka Navy who retired after 37 years of active service as a four-star Admiral, and will be held on May 13 at 6 pm at the CIMA Auditorium in Colombo.
