Dharmasiri Bandaranayake’s legendary play ‘Dhawala Bheeshana’ based on French playwright Jean Paul Satre’s French playwright “Men Without Shadows” will be staged at 2.30 and 6.30 p.m. on December 13 at Town Hall, Panadura.

Translation by Cyril C. Perera and music directed by Premasiri Khemadasa, the play won ten State awards including Best Director, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Set Designing and Best Lighting at the 1989 State Drama Festival.

It was also the Sri Lankan entry for Bharat Rang Mahotsav 2013 at the International Drama festival in India, New Delhi and Jaipur.

The play stars W. Jayasiri, Neil Allas, Oshadee Gunasekera, Jehan Sri kantha, Charith Senanayake, Jagath de Silva, Ishara Pramuditha, Susanga Kahandawalarachchi, Arunod Wijesinghe,Sunimal Perera, Kosala  Lakshitha, Samitha Amarasinghe and Amila Galanga
