The fifth festival of guitar music ‘Guitar Fest 2015’ is scheduled for the 24th of January at Nawa Ranga Hala, Royal College, Colombo. Two outsattion concerts are scheduled for the 25th January at the E.O.E.Pereira Theatre, University of Peradeniya, Peradeniya and the Kurunegala concert will come alive at the Town Hall, Kurunegala on 26th January.

The concert will showcase all styles of guitar playing performed by the very best guitarists in Sri Lanka. A few foreign guitarists will perform at these concerts.  ‘The main objective of these concerts are to popularize music and guitar playing among the youth of Sri Lanka. We look forward to get young guitarists to perform in these concerts’ said Iqbal, the main organiser of the Festival.

The concerts will be free of charge to the public. The cost of these concerts is met by sponsors and well-wishers.
