Chalani Lakmali respectively in the men’s and women’s finals of the 15th President’s Cup Carrom Championships worked off at the Carrom Federation Headquarters at Maharagama yesterday.

This year’s finals in both categories is a repetition of last year’s finals where Chamil Cooray beat Nishantha Fernando and Chalani Lakmali was beaten by Joseph Roshita.
In the men’s semi-finals Chamil Cooray and Nishantha Fernando scored easy victories over M.T.M. Hilmy and Mohommad Shahid while in the women’s semi-finals Joseph Roshita and Chalani Lakmali didn’t find any problems in overcoming Madushani Kanchanamala and Buddhini Dias.
