The Symphony Orchestra of Sri Lanka will present a concert of popular operatic choruses and arias, conducted by Gregory Rose—well known for his expertise in the field of choral direction on 31st May at the BMICH.

Gregory Rose has become a familiar and well-loved figure at SOSL concerts, and his association with the orchestra goes back over a decade. The concert will features Asitha Tennekoon, one of Sri Lanka’s finest tenors, as soloist.

The SOSL chorus, comprised of members of leading choirs in Colombo and Kandy, will present a number of your favourite and most rousing choruses. The orchestra will also perform some operatic classics like Verdi’s Grand March from Aida, and the overture from Rimsky Korsakov’s The Golden Cockerel.

Tickets will be open for online purchases through www.tickets.lk, while tickets could be purchased from Tickets.lk at 5th Lane, Colombo 3, Yamaha Music Center and Sarasavi Book Shop from 12th of May.
