‘Gutikemata Niyamithai’ a satirical play which depicts how one loses his own identity in society, will be staged in two special shows on Saturday May 3 at 1.30 pm and 6.45 pm at the air-conditioned Lumbini Theatre in Gampaha. The latest venue for stage plays in Gampaha, the Lumbini theatre is situated near Seylan Bank, Gampaha.

Three seasoned actors W. Jayasiri, Sarath Kothalawala and Dharmapriya Dias will entertain the audience with their exceptional performances. Gutikemata Niyamithai, is written and directed by Thilak Nandana Hettiaarachchi of “Gabsaawa” and presented by Jude Sirimal.

Behind the screen stage lighting is handled by Chandana Aluthge, music by Shantha Peiris and make up by Saman Hemarathne. Stage settings and costume designs are by Llewellin Vanderwall and Janaka Thilakarathne respectively while Sumedha Prasanna, Ruwan Kumara and Susanga Kahandawalaarachchi handle the stage management.

In Colombo the play will go on the boards on May 10 at 3.30 p.m. and 6.45 p.m. at the Namel Malini Punchi Theatre, Borella.
Tickets for the show at Gampaha will be available at the Sarasavi book shops and Minsare book shops while tickets for the show at Borella will be available at the Namel Malini Punchi theatre.
