Three talented actors in theatre and teledrama and cinema W. Jayasiri, Sarath Kothalawala, Dharmapriya come together in ‘Gutikaamata Niyamithai’, the latest hilarious play which will be staged at 3.30 p.m and 6.45 p.m on March 9 at the Namel Malini Punchi theatre, Borella.
Witten and directed by Thilak Nandana Hettiaarachchi of “Gabsaawa” fame, the play depicts on how one loses one’s own identity in the very surroundings he is living.
Behind the screen stage lighting is handled by Chandana Aluthge, music is by Shantha Peiris and make up by Saman Hemarathne. Stage settings and costume designs by Llewellyn Vanderwall and Janaka Thilakarathne respectively while Sumedha Prasanna, Ruwan Kumara and Susanga Kahandawalaarachchi handle the stage management.
‘Gutikaamata Niyamithai’ is presented by Jude Sirimal for Nirmala Publications.
