Mercantile TT to conduct Open Championship
View(s):The Mercantile Table Tennis Association will conduct their Open Championships on February 27 and 28 at S. Thomas’ College Indoor Stadium. The tournament is scheduled to commence at 5.00pm on each day.
Entries were closed on Friday, February 7 and the draw will be held on Friday 21 at 6.00pm at the Golden Bridge Restaurant, Mount Lavinia.
All matches will be decided on the best of three (3) games, except the men’s and women’s singles matches from the semi-final stage onwards will be decided on the best of five (5) games.
All matches will be played as far as possible in accordance with the laws sanctioned by the ITIF and adopted by the TTA of Sri Lanka.
The following events are scheduled to be worked off. Men’s singles and doubles, women’s singles and doubles, men’s and women’s novices singles and veterans (over 40) men’s and women’s singles.
