Rotten fruits even for the deities

With the contamination of food reaching its worst levels, even these fruits taken to be offered at the well-known Kande Viharaya were found to be rotten. Public Health Inspectors are seen checking these and traders who sold the rotten fruits to the devotees are to be produced in courts.
