A journey to the Blue Mountains and Three Sisters

View(s):

I visited Australia for my year-end holidays. We visited Sydney and Melbourne. When we visited Sydney, we visited one of the main tourist attractions there, ‘The Blue Mountains’ and ‘The Three Sisters’. This place is far away from the city. It took us about two and a half hours drive. The Blue Mountains look blue in colour. Because of this they are called the Blue Mountains. On misty, rainy and cloudy days you cannot see these mountains. Just near this mountain, are three mountains in the shape of three female humans. These mountains are the Three Sisters.

After seeing these mountains we decided to go on different rides to explore the surroundings. First we had a ride on the Skyway and saw Katoomba Falls. Afterwards we went on a cableway and saw a canyon that is said to be bigger than the Grand Canyon. Then we saw an old coal mine named Katoomba Coal Mine.
Next came my best and most breathtaking ride ever. It was the railway – the steepest railway in the world. We went under the coal mine, under the rock, in the middle of a forest and we were screaming.

That area was so beautiful. When we went to Australia this was one of the best natural wonders I saw.
