Orient Hotel wins EU SWITCH – Asia Greening Award
View(s):Orient Hotel, Bandarawela was recently adjudged the Energy Conservation Champion in the 50 room category at the EU SWITCH – Asia Greening Hotels awards – 2013 .

He said the ward is an endorsement of hotel efforts in this area and is a tremendous encouragement to “us and will spur us onto further efforts to reduce our carbon footprint by minimizing our water and energy consumption and waste generation”.
Orient Hotel is owned by Rohan Perera, a Chartered Accountant, who took over the property on the death of his founder-father Fred Perera.
