Rajeeva new CEO at CSE
View(s):Rajeeva Bandaranaike, front runner for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) post at the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) following the current CEO Surekha Sellahewa’s resignation, has been appointed to this position with effect from November 14, according to CSE officials.
Mr. Bandaranaike was previously CEO of People’s Merchant Plc and prior to that, he was the Assistant General Manager (Clearing and Settlement) of the CSE. During his 19 year career at CSE Mr. Bandaranaike held positions such as Assistant Manager (Clearing and Settlement), Manager Trading, Senior Manager (Marketing and Human Resources) and Assistant General Manager (Business Development).
