“Budun Dutu Yuwathiyo” is a novel that discusses the role of young women and its evolution over the course of time from the Brahmin era to the present day. It is written under the auspices of senior lecturer in the Pali language at Sri Jayawardenapura University, Ven Dr. Medhagoda Abhayatissa Thera.

“Sonduru Pathiniya”, written with the advice of Chief Incumbent of the Gangaraamaya Temple, Ven Dr Kirinde Assaji Thera, portrays the role of the ideal woman according to Buddhist teachings.

Her novel “Sonduru Kaluwura”, an Epa publication details the trials and tribulations a modern day married woman faces.
