Two senior officials from Australia’s famous Monash University are in Colombo this week for a series of networking sessions including the popular ‘Interactive Session’ where they met all the students, who are interested in Monash University and Current Monash College students at ANC.

Diploma Programs (Business) at Monash College Australia, were hosted at the Monash College SL at ANC on September 12th evening, where they addressed current students.

Ms.Karen and Mr.Adrian will meet with prospective students and provide information on the wide ranging courses available for students who have completed their GCE Ordinary Level and Advanced Level examinations and are interested in pursuing an academic qualification which is recognised worldwide. Students can meet them on on 14th& 15th September at Monash Booth at Edex Expo held at Royal College from 9.00am – 5.00pm or at the networking session which will be held on 15th September at 6.00pm at ANC.
Monash University foundation year and Diploma programs are currently offered in the country through Monash College Sri Lanka, which is conducted by one of the country’s leading higher educational institutes, ANC Education (ANC), who holds the licence from MonashUniversity to conduct Monash College programs in Sri Lanka.

Monash University has achieved an enviable national and international reputation for research and teaching excellence and was recently ranked in the top 1 per cent of world universities, coming in at the 99th position in the world.

Students who have completed their OL examinations, can commence the foundation program in Business, Engineering, science, Arts and IT and subsequent to completing the foundation program in Sri Lanka, they can transfer to Monash University in Australia or Malaysia and complete their degree program.

Alternatively, students, who have completed their AL examinations, can commence the undergraduate program in either engineering or business, and after completing one year in Sri Lanka, can transfer to Australia or Malaysia to complete the degree program.
Since commencing the Monash College Sri Lanka programs in 2006, approximately 300 students have transferred to Australia and Malaysia respectively, where they have completed their degree program, after commencing it in Sri Lanka. The courses offered in Sri Lanka via ANC Education is assured of high quality standards and the programs in Sri Lanka are accredited and audited by Monash Australia.

Monash College Sri Lanka, since inception in 2006, has enjoyed an impressive pass rates and of 89% during the Year 2012.
