Test Cricket History of Sri Lanka – out on Sep 13
View(s):Veteran sports journalist and television presenter Sarath Jayasinghe will launch his latest book titled ‘The Test Cricket History of Sri Lanka’ at the Kularatne Hall, Ananda College on September 13 under the patronage of Minister of Sports Mahindananda Aluthgamage.
A large gathering of former Sri Lankan Test captains are billed to grace the occasion. Parliamentarians Dallas Alahapperuma, Dr. Rajitha Senaratne, Naveen Dissanayake, Thilanga Sumathipala and Ramesh Pathirana are also expected to take part at this book launch.
Keynote speeches will be delivered by former Test cricketers Sidath Wettimuny, 1996 World Cup winning captain Arjuna Ranatunga and present Sri Lanka Cricket chief selector Sanath Jayasuriya. The book launch is organised by the 1975-1980 batch of Old Anandians in association with the Sri Lanka Cricket Players Association.
